DS9 Steel Challenge

The MPA DS9 Steel Challenge is a 9mm double-stack 1911-style competition pistol designed specifically for USPSA Steel Challenge with factory-loaded or 9mm Minor ammunition. Influenced by Team MPA shooters Andrew Hyder and Travis Tomasie, it delivers race-gun performance in a configuration optimized for fast transitions and reliable minor-power-factor operation.

This pistol features a 5-inch hand-fitted 416R stainless threaded bull barrel with a custom-designed progressive 2-port compensator, black nitride finished steel frame and slide, gold barrel, black compensator, gold control parts, gold optics mount and thumb rest, gold magwell, and medium-length gold trigger. The 7075 aluminum grip carries aggressive A2 texture in black, while the optics plate is configured for Trijicon-patterned red dots. Additional competition features include a left-side removable slide racker, high-ride shielded ambi thumb safety, competition beavertail, hand-lapped frame-to-slide fit, and a competition-tuned trigger with a 2.0 lb pull. Overall length is 10 inches with a weight of 2.5 pounds.

Built for Steel Challenge competition and ready out of the box, the DS9 Steel Challenge ships with two 126 mm 9mm MPA magazines and is fully machined from barstock and billet in the USA.
